Membership Structure:

Members meet once per week

Meeting days:
Mon-Sat

Meeting time:
5-7pm or 7-9pm

Weekdays 10-12 or 2-4pm on Saturdays

Meeting Location:
Designated U4U houses located throughout London (and throughout the UK starting in 2010)

Meetings per season:
12 Seasons: Sept-Dec Jan-April April-july July-Sept

U4U is a members club for girls aged 11-18…

As a member you will attend weekly meetings and participate in all kinds of activities

Also, members can join an enterprise team to build a small enterprise and/or use a professional coach for support with issues like nutrition, career, leadership skills….

WEEKLY MEETINGS:

As a member you will have 3 teams:

1- Peer::

A team of about 20 girls your own age…in these meetings you will participate in activities around the 4 pillars…activities like designing global fashions; making a ‘teen carbon reduction’ magazine; cooking lessons; making natural beauty products…basically activities with fashion, music, leadership, nature, food, beauty, career, relationship and so much more…

Frequently there are guests…sometimes even famous people…and there are great field trips to… plus, you can influence what goes on at your meetings!

2- Mentoring::

Every other week you will meet with your peer mentor.
If you are between 15-18 you will mentor someone younger than you…who will really look up to you…

If you are between 11-14 you will have a mentor who is older than you…she will give you advice and be a great friend…

3 - Performance::

Every other week, after you meet with your mentor, you will meet with your performance team to work on the end of session activity…some examples of end of session activities are:

  • reduce/reuse/recycle fashion show
  • cultural traditions show
  • Organic foods cooking contest
  • Make-over your parents contest
  • Super Olympics
  • and so many more amazingly fresh activities that all your friends will be invited to watch….will be publicized…and will be super fun
